And the dreamed day finally arrived. On the first day, we woke up early in the morning to take our flight from Seville airport to Gatwick in London, UK. The families saw their kids off and our adventure began.
At first, our students were really excited and nervous as it was their very first flight and trip abroad. In the plane, they met some students from Cádiz and this fact made them feel more relaxed before landing in the United Kingdom.
Once we got off the plane, we met the Spanish group from Ciudad Real we were going to share our time, lessons and tours with.
After two hours trip to Oxford, we got to the Oxford English Centre, the academy where our students would foster their speaking and listening skills. Later, while waiting for our host families, we visited some of the school facilities: the library, the canteen, the garden, the table tennis room and some classrooms.
At about 6 pm, all of us were at our new homes having an atypical early dinner. Then, after meeting our host families and sharing information about us and our culture, we went to bed after a long day.
