On the fifth day, we travelled to London, so exciting!  There, we visited many places. First, we were impressed by the London Eye and the river Thames, which was very near to that landmark. After a walk, we saw the Big Ben (did you know that the real name of that monument is the Clock Tower?). In fact, the Big Ben is named after the biggest bell in the tower. There, we had some spare time to take photos together!

A few minutes later, we walked along St. James park. In this park, there were ducks, seagulls and  even a black swan! Besides, Javier Catalán fed and touched a squirrel! Nearby, we visited the Buckingham Palace. There, we saw the guards of the King. They were wearing their typical  colourful uniforms.

Our next stop was the Trafalgar Square, where we could take photos and make videos of the sculpture of a huge lion made of the iron from Spanish canyons. Our tour around London continued towards Piccadilly Circus, our meeting point. Then, we had free time to visit China Town, the M&M’s and the Lego shop.

Finally, we visited the British Museum and we learned a lot about mummies, Egyptian, Greek and Roman times. Most of us were impressed by the techniques used to keep the bodies for so long! It was amazing!

At the end of the day, we came back to Oxford, and we thought we could eat at a restaurant, but it was so late that all of us decided to return home.
