The second day in Oxford, we went to the academy called the Oxford English Centre. This was our first day in the academy so the headmaster introduced himself. Later, he made two different groups according to our English skills, and we started the classes. In the lessons, we can only speak in English, so we are learning a lot.

We met other students from other places like Ciudad Real. At eleven o’clock, we had breakfast and then, at half past eleven, we came back to classes. We finished the lessons at one o’clock and had lunch in the academy with all the students.

In the afternoon, when we finished the classes in the academy, we went on a tour in Oxford. The streets were amazing, and an interesting fact is that there were many shops where you could get Harry Potter and Alice in Wonderland merchandising.

The first monument that we visited was the Martyrs’ Memorial. Then, we went to the Oxford University, it was very big and so beautiful. We entered an Anglican church and it was a little bit strange as it didn’t have any religious statues. After that, we continued visiting the university, but surprisingly it started to rain and some of us got wet. It was a lot of fun!

When the rain stopped, we went to a huge shopping centre. We had a snack in a café. Later, we took the bus and some of us went to a supermarket to buy traditional English food. Finally, every body went home.

We miss our family, but we are having the time of our lives!
