Yesterday, the classes started at half past nine, but we had to be there at nine o’clock. The first thing we did was to meet our classmates in the canteen. Then, we started the lessons with our teacher Mila.

First, we did some vocabulary games, and some reading and listening tasks. At eleven o’clock, we had a break until half past eleven. In the break, we usually have a sandwich or a snack for breakfast.

After that, we came back to the classroom to pick up new vocabulary and we finished with a game called “Scattergories”.

Finally, at one o’clock we ate our packed lunch in the canteen of the academy called “Caramba”. We spent such a good day with our friends and teachers!

In the afternoon, we finished having lunch around 2 p.m. and we went to the Museum of Oxford, but we stopped to see a college called John College which had a big garden and we visited it. After that, we arrived at the museum of Oxford. It was small, but it had many things to see and play with, and we could also dress up like a typical British person in the past. Then, we went to the Christ Church College, one of the most important ones in the country. Inside the premises, you can visit Harry Potter’s dinning room and the stairs that appear in the film. So cool!

We took some photos there and we had some free time. We decided to walk through a path and we saw the Thames river and there we saw some ducks. After that, we stared the treasure hunt. This treasure hunt consisted of 11 challenges. Our favourite challenge was the one in which we had to take a photo holding a book in a library.

The winning team was from our high school, hurraaaaaaay! and they received a nice present. Next, we went shopping to get some souvenirs for our families and we had dinner at McDonald’s.

Finally, we arrived home and we sent a message to our teachers (as usual) to confirm that we were with our host families again. Keep it up for the next adventure!
